Pastor John is a graduate of Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. He served as an associate pastor in West Virginia for 3 years and began his ministry as pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in August 1994.

Thomas Hamblen

Pastor Thomas is a graduate of Cairn University where he earned his BS in Youth and Family Ministry and his MS in Org. Development. He served as a pastoral intern at FBC Hamburg, NY for 2 years and was taken on as the Associate Pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church in 2024.

Jon helps to oversee the missions and administrative ministries at Cornerstone. He is a leader in our Word of Life children’s ministry. He is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College and now works for the City of Rochester. Jon’s favorite verse is Romans 8:38-39.

Dave Marsh

David helps to oversee the music and social ministries. He and his wife Susie work with our teens in Sunday school and Word of Life teen club, and Dave is especially interested in the study of Biblical apologetics. One of his favorite Scriptures is Philippians 4:4-9.

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
